Parts Advisor

Clemence Rogers are currently working in partnership with our client in the recruitment of an experienced Parts Advisor. As the Parts Advisor you will be responsible for supporting service technicians on the back-office counter with electronic vehicle health checks, returns, and VOR’s. You will also be on hand to support the front counter delivering excellent customer service and increasing all aspects of the parts business. The ideal person for this position will have experience working in a truck or related industry. In return you will receive the following. Benefits: Salary £24,000-£28,000, bonus, 31 days holiday including bank holidays, uniform, staff discount, staff interest free loans, pension scheme, generous sick pay scheme, ongoing training and development. Hours will be 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch plus 1 in 3 Saturdays.

As the Parts Advisor you will be responsible for the following:

• Ensuring all parts are correctly checked against delivery notes

• Ensuring all customers and parts needs are dealt with efficiently and effectively

• Responding immediately to requests for parts

• Ensuring the work area is kept clean and tidy and that H&S standards are always adhered to

• Maintain up dated displays providing high quality merchandising of parts

• Assist in stock takes as and when required

• Update and maintain customer database

• To maintain a surcharge ledger (exchange / core parts)

• Reporting stock damage or stock losses to the manager without delay

• Packing and loading parts correctly

As the Parts Advisor you will have the following experience:

• Previous experience working in a similar role - experience of truck or related industry desirable

• Experience using Kerrdige or CD-UK would be advantageous

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Strong organisational and administration skills

• Proactive approach in maintaining customer standards
