Regional Manager (Midlands Workshops)

Clemence Rogers are currently working in partnership with our client in the recruitment of an experienced Manager with a strong mechanical technical background in Heavy Goods Vehicles, to be responsible for the service delivery and profitability of 5 established vehicle maintenance workshops in the Midlands area. Perhaps you are currently a Workshop or Depot Manager looking for your next step in managing multiple workshop operations? In return you will receive the following benefits: Benefits Circa £50,000 salary, bonus , company car or van, pension scheme, death in service, Monday – Friday 45 hours per week.

As the Regional Manager you will be responsible for:

• Managing the daily operation of the regional workshops ensuring that vehicles are maintained to the appropriate company standards

• Maximising workshop productivity and the effective use of labour

• Ensuring all activities are completed in the safest and most cost-effective manner to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction

• Support and implement any new changes on policy and processes within the workshops, including working towards IS0900 standards

• Developing and support Site Managers to deliver all department KPI’s in an efficient, safe and legal manner

• Identifying opportunities to drive improvements

• Being the main point of contact for any customer escalations, including customer visits as and when required

• Travelling across the Midlands region to provide support to Site Managers as and when required

As the Regional Manager you will have the following:

• VMU or Main Dealer Experience as a Regional Manager or similar position

• Technical knowledge of HGV,s, ideally hold a HGV technician qualification

• Able to communicate with staff clearly and concisely, be able to build excellent relationships with staff and customers

• An understanding of the importance in delivering fantastic Customer Service is essential

• Highly skilled communicator, and able to work professionally with all areas of the business

• Be a strong an natural leader and able to motivate and lead a team
