Sales Manager

Clemence Rogers are currently working in partnership with our client in the recruitment of an experienced Sales Manager who has experience of construction / plant equipment or similar type of machinery and must be able to further development their knowledge to confidently identify and communicate with their customers on an equal level. As a Sales Manager, you will be primarily selling to an already established customer base but must be confident in both inbound and outbound sales with the capabilities to identify new selling opportunities within every call.

  • Salary: 35k - 50k + Uncapped Commission

Key Requirements:

• Contacting new and existing clients

• Dealing with live and lapsed accounts

• Building solid client relationships

• Taking all inbound calls, orders and queries

• Up-selling and cross selling on all opportunities

• Liaising on a highly professional level at all levels within a customer’s organisation

• Understanding customer needs to logistically ensure best delivery methods

• Picking up on buying signals and needs from clients

• Working to KPI’s and monthly sales targets

• Overcoming objections and using negotiation skills to overcome them


• Technical Sales experience within construction equipment

• Responsible for the account management of a territory

• Experience in new business sales and account management

• B2B sales experience highly beneficial

• Up-selling / cross selling

• Motivation to earn good commission / used to targets

• Willing to learn and adapt to new product and service

• Excellent timekeeping

• Must be conscientious and respectful towards colleagues

• Strong administration skills to ensure strategic forecasting and planning
